I've been reduced to commercial radio on my commute, but once in a rare while something really good comes on. Even more surprising, this is the lead singer from Linkin Park, which like Green Day is usually the kiss of death for me.

I'm probably going to see them when they come around. I'm a fan of both bands though, so... there's that.

Today in weirdly perfect moments - driving home at night, listening to this, sunroof and windows open, cold wind flowing into the car and the streetlights coming in through all directions.

Then the song ended and I closed everything because I was kind of cold. But the cold seemed to be perfect when connected to the song.

Apologies if this is a bring-down, but we've just had a mad layoff at The Exploratorium and I've had this one ringing in my head all day.

There's bad news from Houston...
