Things to do in Indianapolis

PostFri May 24, 2013 5:28 am

I'm driving to Indianapolis on Monday for work (missed the 500 by a day.)
I'll be there through Thursday or Friday.
What are some good things to do in the evenings after we finish the day's tests?

Robin Miller always tells people to go to the Mug 'N Bun and get a tenderloin sandwich.

I imagine you could probably do the IMS museum.

I really liked the children's museum (the one that had dinosaurs on the building), maybe there is a day it is open longer? Also very near to there there was a great candy store. Ask for the Danish licorice. It's black or brown and varies in saltiness and hardness, maybe got for a softer not so salty one first. I just scrolled around on google maps and did not see the store, but it's small. Maybe someone at the museum can direct you. Have fun!
