1996 BMW Z3/S52 M Roadster Clone For Sale

My Z3 is STILL for sale. It runs and drives good, but doesn't pass emissions due to a missing fuel evap system. My bottom dollar is $6000. I might be willing to sell the engine and transmission separate from the chassis. The chassis would be great for a LSX swap. The engine and trans would be great for any other BMW. I am located north of Atlanta, GA. I MIGHT be interested in a trade worth +/-$3K and +/-$3k cash. Trade should be either something interesting or something I could flip quick.

This is a sick car, I do have a 2001 tastefully modified Camaro with a 3800 in it...perfect for a LSX swap

I know you've had this for a while, so if you still have it in a little while I might be interested, although BMW maintenance scares me.

Now to convince the wife to take some of the funds to either buy a sub $2000 beater that gets 25+MPG or get an iron block LS V-8 for the 77 Corvette.

I should go post that I'm interested in every thread. Maybe they'll all be so fortunate.

PJ, if you are considering a BMW the maintenance isn't too bad if you stick with Pre-VANOS engines of 6 cylinders or less. I'm depressed every time I think about how much money I put in that Z3, I could have had a Ferrari for those kind of repair costs.

Yeah, I'd most likely go with an E30 325ix or something of that ilk. I'm just trying to decide between a M1008 to have a truck in the family or something that I actually enjoy driving.
